3PIECESUSHIThere was no sign of a recession at Benkay Sushi Bar and Japanese Restaurant on a recent Friday night.

The entryway's bench was filled with folks eager to eat sushi and wagyu beef. Customers with reservations jumped to the head of the line, but the wait wasn't too long for the rest. It was certainly worth it.

Sushi, sampled from a regular dinner and from the chef's choice or omakase, impressed with its careful presentation and impeccable flavors.

The atmosphere of revelry emanating from happy crowded tables made it seem as if winter was long over and good weather was here to stay.
